Chalawan, the king of alligators, is a Thai folkloric tale in which an alligator with the ability to shapeshift into a charming man lures young women to become his lovers. He is strong and aggressive, due to his wild-beast nature, but is smooth and charming around women. Just like Chalawan, this Pale Ale balances bitterness and sweetness. Crafted from blends of Pilsner malt and roasted Munich malt, it has a medium body with moderate carbonation. It delivers a malty caramel note flanked by lychee, citrus, and floral aromas that glide into a long finish, thanks to the robust and hoppy profile of the Cascade and Columbus hops.
